Evening vibes at Ålesund, Norway
Ålesund, a city brought to life by fire and resurrected into beauty. Once a thriving fishing port along Norway’s coast, until a devastating fire in 1904 turned it to ashes. But from the rubble rose Ålesund like a phoenix with its distinctive Art Nouveau buildings, an architectural masterpiece reflecting the city’s rebuilding and pride. With its steep hills, surrounding fjords, and colorful houses, Ålesund is not just a city but a poetic tale of survival and beauty in the face of adversity
