I’m standing down by Röda Sten, looking out over the entrance to Gothenburg’s harbor. Cold winds sweep in across the city, yet the place feels calm and still. Most people are probably at home watching Melodifestivalen – but we chose a night shot instead.
After capturing the bridge in the cold light, I look around. A larger tugboat rests at Nya Varvet, solid and steady. Out by the massive cranes, there’s a hint of movement, a reminder that the harbor never truly sleeps.
After a while, the photo session comes to an end. Fingers numb from the cold, but the shots are there. We pack up and head home through the quiet night.
