The blue hour has always fascinated me. There’s something honest about that quiet light, the way it settles over everything before the night takes over.
This evening felt special from the start. Completely still. Cold air, not a breath of wind. I headed down to the harbor, slipped past a fence, and found a solid spot to set up. No rush. Just me, the camera, and that deep blue sky slowly changing shade.
It was time to capture the light while it lasted. Five or six frames — that was enough. Sometimes you don’t need more. Then it was time to pack up and head home for the Valentine’s Day celebration.
