The northern lights rose quietly and then began to dance across the sky, slow at first, then with growing strength.
We stood there in silence, watching as green ribbons moved, twisted, and faded, only to return again. For almost 30 minutes the sky felt alive, as if it was putting on a private show just for us.
Then, just as suddenly, she drifted away, the movement softened, the light disappeared, and the sky returned to deep darkness, calm and empty once more.
